The composition of the association is still unknown, but its main purpose will be to lay the foundation for the transition to the 6G format. This should happen in the early 2030s. And 6G equipment may appear in Russia by 2027.
At the same time, the head of the Content Review project, Sergey Polovnikov, believes that the introduction of 6G networks is in the distant future. According to him, it is not clear how this technology will be developed in Russia commercially in isolation from foreign partners.
