Elon Musk closed a deal on Twitter for $44 billion and immediately fired several top managers of the social network:

▪️ Head of Legal, Judicial Policy, Trust and Security Vijay Gadde
▪️ CFO Ned Segal
▪️ General Counsel Sean Edgett

The layoffs did not go very smoothly. Bloomberg sources said the legal adviser was “escorted out of Twitter’s office.”

Musk is slated to become interim CEO of Twitter. In the future, he can pass on to the next person.
