The new 10th generation iPad has the slowest USB-C port of any iPad.

Its speed is 480 Mbps. It’s no different than the 9th Gen iPad with Lightning.

All other iPads with USB-C have faster speeds. iPad Pro with M1 chip detects Thunderbolt 3 for data transfer rates up to 40Gbps. The 5th generation iPad Air reports data at 10 Gbps. iPad Air 4th generation and iPad mini received USB-C with a speed of 5 Gb / s.

Apple is nowhere to be found. In everyday use of the iPad 10th generation, it does not catch your eye in any way, but large files via USB-C will take a long time to copy to the tablet.
