Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey has launched a new social network called Bluesky Social. While it’s in beta, Dorsey is looking for developers to join the project.
Bluesky Social users will be able to transfer accounts with all data from other social networks, notes Business Insider.
Bluesky Social differs from other social networks by having its own AT protocol algorithm and using blockchain technologies, and also positions itself as a decentralized media platform.
The founder of the social network, American businessman Jack Dorsey, co-founder and former head of Twitter, said that his new project will compete with all existing social networks.
Dorsey is looking for developers to join his project. This is relevant in light of the latest news about the start of Twitter cutbacks after Elon Musk bought the microblogging platform.
Jack Dorsey’s departure from Twitter’s board of directors became known in May 2022. In November 2021, Dorsey stepped down as CEO of the company.
