Anna Matthiasson, vice president of Apple’s online store, will soon leave the company, reports Bloomberg.
Mattiasson worked in this position for about three years. She previously worked at Apple as the COO.
The reason for leaving Apple is unknown. Karen Rasmussen is the new head of the Apple Online Store.
Mary Dembi, head of Apple Information Systems, also left Apple. This is the management of Apple’s internal system through which employees share information and files. Dembi is reportedly dying after 30 years of work.
No one has yet appointed a replacement for Dembi. One consequence for the position is David Smalley, who has been with Apple since 2019. Prior to joining Apple, he was Chief Information Officer of AstraZeneca. [Bloomberg]
