Russian funds received 14 billion rubles for the development of the IT industry. The money will be allocated to IT companies in the form of grants, the ministry said. The list of supporting projects will be published soon.
The money provided for the allocation of grants to support the IT industry has reached the recipients, said Maksut Shadayev, head of the Ministry of Digital Development. The funds were received by the Skolkovo Foundation and the Russian Foundation for the Development of Information Technologies (RFRIT).
Shadayev clarified that the recommended projects for the support of the centers of industrial competence have already been heard. The list of subsidy projects will be published this week, the head of the Digital Development Ministry added.
The government adopted a resolution on the allocation of 14 billion rubles to support the domestic IT industry in April 2022. According to the document, the share of the Skolkovo fund is 1.2 billion rubles, 10.8 billion rubles is the share of RFRIT, the Bortnik fund received another 2 billion rubles.
