VK has added RuStore, the official Russian Android app store, to its Bug Bounty program on the Standoff 365 Bug Bounty platform. This was reported in a press release VK.

VK will start paying users for vulnerabilities found in the RuStore app store

In case of detection of vulnerabilities in RuStore, security researchers will receive rewards from the company from 3 to 60 thousand rubles, depending on the threat level.

VK launched Bug Bounty in July 2022 and paid 3 million rubles during this time. The company received 300 vulnerability reports.

RuStore is developing VK together with the largest IT companies in Russia with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development. The app store is now home to more than 2.7 thousand apps and represents more than 1.9 thousand development companies.
