The founder of the Anderson coffee shop chain announced the start of a “large-scale operation” to expel it from the country. In the institutions there are “mask shows” and “authorities” “most likely plan to slip something”. Tatulova asked for help in finding lawyers and tax lawyers in the cafe, as well as representatives of public control.
The situation in which the business of the Anderson coffee shop chain found itself, its founder Anastasia Tatulova, is described in a post published on Telegram.
“Half an hour ago, in all the partner and own coffees of our network, a great operation began to finally expel me from the country, or “imprison or shut up and get out of here”, as a very high-ranking official told me”, Tatulova wrote.
The businessman clarified that on Monday, November 14, the controls began in the Anderson establishments – in each cafeteria there are five “guardians of the law” who “intimidate the employees”, and “employees of authority” exceed their authority and do not They allow the cafeteria to function.
Tatulova asked for help: “right now” the cafe needs lawyers and tax lawyers, as well as representatives of public control.
“It is necessary to register everything, all the violations and everything that is done illegally. Make sure nothing is planted,” Tatulova wrote.
Tatulova emphasized that Anderson is an absolutely “white and law-abiding” company. She also said that over the past year there have been 60 different coffee tax requests, and “nothing was found” for any of them.
Updated at 17:25 Moscow time. I received a comment from Anastasia Tatulova.
Anastasia Tatulova told RB.RU that representatives of the tax authorities came to 17 Moscow cafes of the Anderson network with records and a seizure order.
“They came to us without explaining what we are guilty of, representatives of the authorities intimidate employees and confiscate personal belongings, seal cameras in a cafe, do not allow filming, do not allow the cafe to work,” Tatulova said.
The businesswoman added that for a long time she has been threatened for her position regarding the destruction of small and medium-sized businesses and the tax system by the State, and today’s events are just a new act of intimidation.
Updated at 20:55 Moscow time. A comment was received from the Federal Tax Service of Russia.
The press service of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, in response to a request from RB.RU, explained that in the course of a joint audit with other departments, cases of entrepreneurs in the catering field for paying taxes were discovered. The evasion scheme, specified in the Federal Tax Service, consists of the use of fictitious boxes and payment acceptance devices (TPV) belonging to third parties.
“This scheme allowed caterers to understate their own income, as well as evade payment of payroll taxes and fees,” the press service of the Russian Federal Tax Service said.
The department noted that the work of the inspected companies was not suspended, the verification activities will end at the end of the day.
“Until the end of the tax audits, the Russian Federal Tax Service cannot list the companies where the audits are carried out, as well as present their results,” the Federal Tax Service added.
In April 2022, Anastasia Tatulova wrote an application for the release of the functions of the ombudsman for the protection of small and medium-sized businesses. She has held this position since July 2020. Tatulova said she was at odds with the state on what should be done, tired of the way businessmen’s problems are handled now, and faced pressure on herself and her family.
