iCloud users on Windows have experienced a number of serious issues with video corruption and linking images to those not in the library. Complaints can be found on MacRumors.

One user reported that videos shot on iPhone 13 Pro and 14 Pro are corrupted when connected via iCloud. The rollers turned black with strong lines.

Another member of the Sleeping_Ghost forum reported that when viewing photos or videos via iCloud on Windows, images from strangers appear in the library.

I was recommended photos of other people’s families that I had never seen in my life, football matches and other random photos.

Uninstalling the iCloud app for Windows doesn’t solve the problem. Users have gathered that this is a server side issue.
