It turned out to be a good processor for the third time: Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 finally started shooting games normally

In one of the episodes on YouTube, the host of the Golden Reviewer channel checked how the Xiaomi 12S Ultra behaved in Apex Legends Mobile. This smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. This game was launched at the highest possible graphics settings (i.e., with a high preset) with 60fps.

After testing Apex Legends for about 15 minutes, the 12S Ultra reached 39 degrees Celsius. And that’s not enough.

Compared to competitors, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip has very impressive power consumption and an average FPS. True, in terms of FPS efficiency per watt, the processor is slightly inferior to the Dimensity 8100: 15 versus 16.2. All measurements can be seen above.
