Yandex has announced that it has created a new system designed to combat this type of scam. So, in the company’s search engine, an additional icon for goods appeared – “confirmed discount”.
The user sees whether the store itself provides Yandex with information about the availability of discounts. At the same time, the IT giant independently checks the store’s prices for the last two months and determines whether the discount is real.
