The VK press service shared the results of the study conducted by Cross Web Mediascope.
In 2022, Russians spent an average of 19.5 minutes a day on VKontakte, 3 minutes more than at the end of 2021. When it comes to the amount of time spent on a particular messenger or social network, VKontakte overtook TikTok in April and WhatsApp in March.
The study authors noted that their analysis takes into account the entire population of Russia (not just Internet users) aged 12 and older.
According to the study, 85% of Russian Internet users use the VKontakte social network, the monthly audience of the social network in the third quarter of this year amounted to 76.9 million users.
