Musk said the social network is starting to get rid of fake, spam and fraudulent accounts. For this reason, it warned users that they might notice a sudden drop in follower numbers.
“Twitter is currently deleting a lot of spam and scam accounts so you can see your followers drop,” Musk wrote on his profile.
