VK has introduced a new “smart” speaker VK “Capsule Neo”. The retail price of the device is 3990 rubles, but with a pre-order the column can be purchased for 2990.
The display on the column adjusts to the lighting and also transmits the weather forecast and the time. Now the model is presented in gray and blue colors, but in the future the range will be expanded. The device is equipped with a voice assistant “Marusya”.
Through the application settings, you can access the materials of your VKontakte account and listen to your audio recordings. For the launch of the new product, the company updated “Marusin’s Tales”, now the voice assistant can tell them along with the characters from the cartoons “Be-be-bears” and “Kitten Kote”. In this case, you can set a special mode for children. The reservation will be available until December 11.
In the first half of 2022, the Russian smart speaker market showed a growth of 70%. In parts, sales increased to 780 thousand rubles, which is a record.
