The Government of the Russian Federation approved the proposal “On Amendments to the First Part of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation”, which will improve the procedure for sending tax notices, in particular, digitize and deliver them through the personal account of the contributor to the “Gosuslugi” service.

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation approved the initiative on digital tax notifications through “Gosuslugi”

According to the official portal of the Cabinet of Ministers, the project has been approved and will be submitted to the State Duma in the near future.

After the relevant amendments to the Tax Code of the Russian Federation are made, it will be possible to refuse paper tax notifications, but the proposal will take effect only from January 1, 2024, as the initiators suggest.

According to government experts, “The implementation of the bill will make it possible to stop duplicating the sending of tax notifications by mail to taxpayers who use the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services who have sent a notification to the tax authority about the presentation of documents through their account. “

At the same time, any transmission of documentation with personal data that constitutes a tax secret is only possible with the consent of the recipient of the notifications.

It will be possible to deny the service at any time by sending the corresponding appeal to the tax authority.

The government of the Russian Federation also approved the allocation of funds to the Ministry of Agriculture from the reserve fund to offset the costs of creating and modernizing agricultural facilities.
