Grayl has unveiled a new version of its versatile hiking accessory called the UltraPress Ti. The prefix “Ti” means “titanium”, which automatically implies a price from $ 90 immediately to $ 200. A titanium cup is 46 grams heavier than a plastic cup, but it is many times stronger, plus you will certainly do everything not to lose such a valuable item somewhere in the forest.

The idea for the UltraPress Ti grew out of a camping water filter that Grayl bought off the market in 2013. The filtering function has been preserved, but now it is implemented separately in an insert. The company promises the purity of all types of natural and industrial pollution, but does it show itself, bacter? The filter works according to the manual PRESS recipe and allows you to get up to 0.5 liters of clean water in one pump.

The high melting point of titanium allows the UltraPress Ti to be used as a container for heating food or drinks. The device is specially equipped with handles, for which it can be hung over a fire, picked up with a stick or tied with a rope to draw water from a waterfall or from a high bridge. Also titanium cup can be used as a bowl for food or for brewing tea.
