At the direction of Gennady Abramenkov, director of the Fakel Design Bureau in Kaliningrad, which is part of Roskosmos, Russia is developing an ultra-high power rocket engine that allows spacecraft to be used at the farthest points of the solar system.
In particular, it is reported that Torch was present during the Kurchatov Institute’s active work on the development of a high-power “electrodeless plasma rocket engine” (BPRD).

It will be based on a nuclear power source, promising a promising solution to the problem of interplanetary travel, and in development to the far reaches of the solar system.
The timing of the discovery of at least a prototype of this engine has not been found, but, like the construction of Abramenkov, for the development of the BPRD, for a significant time, since such physical rules are present during its operation, with the equipment of the Fakel engineers have not yet he pursued.
