The customer should also be able to cancel such insurance at any time and return part of the premium for the unused period. The regulator also proposed limiting to 30 days the maximum term to liquidate the losses of such policies, reports Izvestia.

The All-Russian Union of Insurers proposed not to include cases in the policy when the consumer independently transfers money to the fraudster. Since it is very difficult to prove that a person was really deceived, and he did not voluntarily transfer a certain amount, and then decided to receive compensation.

In July-September, financial fraudsters stole nearly 4 billion rubles from Russian bank clients. This is almost 40% more than in the second quarter. At the same time, the number of robberies also increased by 8.8%, to 229.7 thousand cases.
