Yandex will soon beta version of Maps. You can already test it on iOS and Android.
The company has completely redesigned roads, junctions, buildings and objects that are more realistic to make it easier for drivers and pedestrians to navigate. So, now there are stripes and marks on the roads, signs are made in the form of three-dimensional models, houses are painted in the colors they are in real life, and so on.
For testing while average exactly updated roads for navigator and smart route indicatorwhich tells which side of the road to go.
How to take part in testing
On iOS
one. Install TestFlight and click “Start testing” – you will receive a test version of the Yandex Maps application.
2. After installation, the Maps were restarted several times – and you can see detailed roads inside the Third Ring Road.
3. Now you can drive through the center of Moscow, focusing on the new map. It is enough to turn on the “Navigator” mode.
On Android
one. Please make sure you have left the beta testing program if you have not previously participated in it.
2. Submit your mail via the form.
3. Within 24 hours, a letter with an invitation to join the test group will be sent to the specified mail. Follow the link in the email and join the test.
4. Install a test version of the application, restart a couple of times and the additional Navigator mode. You can see detailed roads inside the Third Ring Road.
five. Come to the center of Moscow to try to navigate the new map.
The body can take part up to 5 thousand people.
