MacBook will be made in Vietnam

Apple will start production of MacBook laptops in Vietnam in 2023, writes Nikkei Asia. The corporation will relocate part of its production to Vietnam from China.

In order not to use a single country as a manufacturer for most of its products, Apple began in order to diversify its production process. In addition, the reason was the problems that the corporation has due to supply interruptions in the context of the restrictive measures that the Chinese authorities are introducing in relation to the COVID-19 outbreaks, the publication clarifies.

Previously, Apple partially moved the production of iPhone smartphones from China to India. The company also plans to launch AirPods wireless headphones there.
