The wireless charging pad is powered by FreePower technology, which allows you to charge Qi-enabled devices: smartphones, headphones, and other devices. Apple Watch smartwatches do not support this charging standard.
Rechargeable devices can be placed anywhere on the station surface. 15W of maximum power is provided to charge one device.
Apple introduced a device similar to the Wireless Charging Pad in 2017, but never released it, explaining its decision due to production difficulties.
