Tinkoff Bank designed and assembled the first domestic ATM, which has already been put into operation. It is called “One”, in honor of the bank’s slogan – “He is so alone.”
The ATM consists of foreign and Russian components. ATM was created on the basis of the capacities of the BANKOM company, which entered the Tinkoff Bank ecosystem in the spring of 2022.
The new model supports all the usual functions and services: withdrawing and depositing cash using contactless cards, QR codes and smartphones. The ATM can work with several currencies.
“One” is installed and operates in the business center “Water”, where the main office of Tinkoff Bank is located. In the coming months, the company will sell another 1,000 new ATMs.
Previously, Russian banks mainly used ATMs of American companies Diebold Nixdorf and NCR. But this year, Chinese GRGs began to be purchased, as well as Korean Nautilus Hyosung.
In addition, Russia has already developed a SAGA ATM, which consists entirely of domestic components. VTB is already testing it and is going to buy MTS Bank. [Известия]
