This Tuesday (10), Samsung has announced the launch of two new mobile phones in Brazil. Models Galaxy A23 5G and Galaxy A04 with suggested prices of 1,399 BRL and 2,299 BRLIt brings 5,000 mAh battery capacity and intermediate features respectively.

These South Korean manufacturer’s first launches in Brazil in 2023. The Galaxy A23 5G goes on sale on January 16 (in black, white, and blue), while the A04e can be found this week (in black, blue, and copper).

In Galaxy A04e the consumer finds a more simplified technical sheet. It has a 6.5-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a default refresh rate of 60 Hz. The A23 5G has a 6.6 inch Full HD+ LCD display, but the refresh rate is 120 Hz.

In cameras, the A04e has 13 MP (main) and 2 MP (depth) sensors on the back, in addition to a 5 MP front sensor. Galaxy A23 5G has four sensors on the back set: 50 MP (main), 5 MP (wide angle) and the other two 2 MP for depth and macro photography. Both have a drop-shaped cutout in the screen for the selfie camera.

Galaxy A04e is the most basic of versions. The datasheet has the MediaTek P35 chipset, 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It also has space for microSD cards up to 1TB.

When it comes to Galaxy A23 5G, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset which is compatible with 5G, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (plus up to 1TB microSD slot). Both devices have RAM Plus functionality, which adds another 4GB of virtual memory to the A23 5G and 3GB to the A04e.

Both devices came with Android 12 out of the box. It’s worth mentioning about the battery. The A23 5G is the only device that supports 25W chargers, but this capacity is not included in the accessory device box..
