A post recently made a huge splash on Twitter, showing a distinctive pink notebook priced at around R$3,000. The problem is that this notebook it costs a ridiculous amount and only has 64GB of storage, a Celeron processor and 4GB of RAM.
But after all, is it worth paying that much for a notebook just for the color, or are we talking about another ad of dubious quality?
If you have considered the second option, yes, this is another one of them. very questionable quality notebooks. Despite being manufactured by Samsung, one of the most trusted and popular brands on the market, this laptop is definitely not saved by its pink color and cute design.
I would seriously do crazy crazy atrocities to have one of these pic.twitter.com/VfcVjuwUQa

THEM Samsung Flash F30Released in 2019, it comes with a processor Intel Celeron N4000 2 cores, 2 threads and a base frequency of 1.10 Ghz. Besides, 4GB RAM memory and 64GB of internal storage (SSD) rounds out the internal features. The screen is 13 inches in size and has Full HD resolution.
It’s nearly impossible to have a decent user experience with a laptop like this in 2023. The Celeron processor is one of the most basic models available today and is probably the slowest. 4GB of RAM doesn’t help either and causes a lot of system slowdown.
In this total, these two components can’t handle core apps. This means that when buying a laptop like this, there is absolute certainty that everything will crash within minutes of use. Even basic working uses like opening a few Google Chrome tabs and using Word to write an article would be an extremely tiring and frustrating task.
Also, 64GB of internal space is a joke. Even if the manufacturer reports that it is an SSD, the technology used (eMMC) is not the fastest which will result in very slow loading.
High price and short delivery
The price doesn’t help either. Paying almost 3,000 BRL for a laptop with these configurations just because it’s pink and has a nicer design is borderline insane. At this price, models such as the Intel Core i5 and the Acer Aspire 5 with 8 GB of RAM; or Lenovo Ideapad 3 with Ryzen 5 5500U processor and 8GB capacity may cost even less and 3 to 4 times more performance increase.
Unless it is very necessary, it is useful to stay away from notebooks with “Celeron”, “Dual Core” and “4 GB” labels and look at models with 4 GB. 8GB RAM, I5 or Ryzen 5 processorand invest in a good machine.
