Apple is considering releasing its first touchscreen laptop in 2025 as part of a major update to the MacBook Pro. The company has been claiming for years that touchscreen laptops are inferior in terms of ergonomics.

Apple plans to develop its first touchscreen MacBook

The first design will include a trackpad and keyboard, as well as a touch screen, according to CNBC.

Starting in 2024, the company intends to use its own screens for mobile devices. Going forward, Apple will expand its lineup of displays, including those for iPhone smartphones.

In November 2022, Apple was once again recognized as the world’s most valuable brand. Its cost was estimated at 482.200 million dollars, since last year it has risen in price by 18%. Apple’s closest competitor was beaten by a wide margin by the Microsoft brand, which was valued at $278.3 billion.

The price of brands has yet to rise as fast as last year: the total value of the ranked brands rose 16% to a record $3.1 trillion.
