Wildberries marketplace plans to enter the markets of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Tajikistan, said Tatyana Bakalchuk, founder and CEO of the online platform. In addition, according to her, the company is going to “redraw” the logo.

Wildberries plans to start working in new countries and “redraw” the logo – Bakalchuk

“In the CIS we are thinking of expanding, some countries are between us and the country where we work. For example, we are thinking of countries like Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and also Georgia,” Bakalchuk told reporters (quoted by TASS), adding that it is too early to talk about the timing of entry into these countries.

Now Wildberries operates in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Israel, Uzbekistan.

Wildberries is also busy looking for a new logo and brand concept. According to Bakalchuk, the company wants to “redraw” the logo, as they believe the brand is “somewhat outdated.”

Last November, Tatyana Bakalchuk already admitted the possibility of updating the market logo, reducing it to a short WB. And in August 2022, the company even temporarily changed the site’s name to Berries, but later explained it with an “ad campaign.”
