Apple has announced a new generation of compact Mac mini computers.
The biggest change in the novelty was the M2 and M2 Pro processors. Thanks to this chip, devices can connect up to three external monitors with the M2 Pro and up to two with the M2. Both models offer “advanced interaction systems for exceptional sustained performance.”
Mac mini M2 features an 8-core processor with high performance and high performance cores and a 10-core graphics processor. With 24 GB of RAM and 100 GB/s bandwidth, Adobe Photoshop image editing is 50% faster than the M1 version, and video editing in Final Cut Pro is more than twice as fast.
The M2 can also simultaneously run two 8K ProRes 422 video streams at 30fps or up to 12 streams of 4K ProRes 422 video at 30fps.
The Mac mini M2 costs $599.
