The revenue of Russian developers of facial recognition solutions grew by 35% in 2022

VisionLabs’ revenue last year amounted to 1.4 billion rubles, 30% more than in 2021, NtechLab – 35% compared to 2021, when the company received 1 billion rubles, Kommersant learned.

Not all of them managed to increase their income abroad in 2022. RecFaces reported that against the background of the general geopolitical situation, many market mechanisms stopped working and therefore it was necessary to re-introduce the brand in foreign markets.

Experts say that sales of AI-based solutions typically grow 5-10% faster than full-system software. However, according to them, this year the most demanded solutions will be for cybersecurity and cloud platforms.
