Galaxy S23 FE was officially launched by Samsung this Wednesday (3). The manufacturer also introduced the Galaxy Buds FE headphones and updated its entry-level tablet series with the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+ models.

Speculations regarding the three products have been around for a while. For example, it has been two years since Samsung updated its cost-benefit focused Fan Edition mobile phone.

Galaxy S23 FE design

The design of the Galaxy S23 FE resembles the aesthetics of the standard Galaxy S23and as in recent generations. It has rounded corners, aluminum sides, three cameras on the back (made of glass) and IP68 certification against water and dust, but it has differences compared to other models in the S series.

For example, its screen is 6.4 inches (Full HD+), larger than the Galaxy S23’s 6.1″.. Samsung maintains AMOLED 2X technology and a refresh rate that can vary between 60 Hz and 120 Hz. The weight of the device is 209g, S23 is 168g, and S23+ is 195g.

The Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+ feature 10.9″ and 12.4″ LCD displays respectively, both with a 90Hz refresh rate. Both have Full HD+ resolution and are compatible with the S Pen. Samsung also sells versions compatible with 5G as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.

Samsung has stated that the S23 FE will launch in “select markets” on Thursday (5), while the new Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ and Galaxy Buds FE will launch next Tuesday (10). There is no information yet about the availability of the new line in Brazil.
