1. Move your router to an open area.
Your router is a radio transmitter, it should be as close as possible to devices that need fast connections – ideally within sight.
2. Change the channel.
This can affect your speed, especially if you live in a building where multiple people are using Wi-Fi and they are all on the same channel.
3. Use cables if possible.
If you have many devices, it may be helpful to connect non-mobiles (TVs and game consoles) with a wired connection.
4. Rotate the antennas.
Try different configurations.
5. Replace equipment.
You can buy a newer router or even set up a mesh network.
