Signs of infection with bovine tapeworm can be as follows: feeling of heaviness in the stomach, heartburn, increased salivation, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, bloating.

To avoid infection, you need to cook the meat with a heat treatment that allows you to kill the worm larvae. For this, the meat needs to be boiled or cooked for 1-3 hours in small pieces. If infection with a bovine tapeworm has nevertheless occurred, treatment is mainly reduced to taking antiparasitic drugs.
