The problem lies both in the sanctions, by which foreign companies can stop cooperation with Russian game development, and in general, due to the withdrawal of various game audio services from Russia. Restrictions may apply to licensing soundtracks and sound effects for development. Most of these services today are provided by Pond5 and Artlist.
Regarding “young” studios, large Russian companies have long opened legal entities and accounts abroad, but there are no new studios yet. The problem is: It’s very difficult to do the same trick now.
In addition, restrictions can be created when using 2D and 3D graphic editors, from abroad to complete blocking. A similar situation can arise in game engines.
