Acer announced this Tuesday (31), four new Chromebook models for education. Developed for students, teachers and administrators, the devices stand out with their focus on performance, practical features and especially durability.
The Chromebook Vero 712, Chromebook Spin 512, Chromebook Spin 511, and Chromebook 511 are military-approved MIL-STD 810. With its durable design designed for “the hustle and bustle of the school environment”, models withstand drops up to 122 cm and pressure up to 60 kg.
Acer Chromebook Vero 712
Focused on performance and sustainability, Chromebook Vero 712 uses 12th generation Intel Core processors. In addition to performing basic tasks, the chips allow students to use programming and video editing applications.
The model has a 12-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution. With a 3:2 aspect ratio. According to the brand, users can save 18% more space than widescreen (16:9), allowing them to read text, view maps and photos without having to scroll.
