Sales of the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max continue to rise while demand for the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus is falling, said Ross Young, an analyst at Display Supply Chain Consultants.
According to Yang, in January, Apple increased purchases of this display for the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. Currently, these two models account for 75% of iPhone screen options.
At the same time, the share of displays for the iPhone 14 increased in January compared to December, and the company did not purchase screens for the iPhone 14 Plus for two months.
Yang believes that Apple is adjusting iPhone production based on consumption. For now, the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max are consumable iPhones for sale. They are followed by the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Plus.
