Russian employers are twice as likely to seek Chinese-speaking employees. Most of the vacancies are for teachers, foreign trade specialists, suppliers, translators and sales managers, according to the Superjob study. RB.RU got acquainted with the results.

Proficiency in Chinese will increase the salary of a specialist by 18%

Most of these vacancies are offered by companies in the transport and logistics industry, in the areas of retail and production, analysts say.

On average, knowledge of Chinese increases the salary of a specialist by 18%. The difference is especially noticeable in the income of purchasing managers: those who are still far from the world of hieroglyphics earn from 70 to 110 thousand rubles, while their colleagues who are fluent in Chinese literacy earn from 90 to 150 thousand rubles.

A logistics manager who does not speak Chinese can claim 70-100 thousand rubles a month, but if he speaks and writes in the language of the Celestial Empire, then already 80-130 thousand rubles, according to Superjob data.

According to the results of the study, for a foreign trade manager without knowledge of Chinese, the market salary corridor is from 80 to 130 thousand rubles, with knowledge of Chinese – from 90 to 150 thousand rubles.

The list of popular foreign languages ​​also includes English, German, French, and Spanish. So, for example, knowledge of English at a conversational or fluent level increases the average salary in Moscow by 18%.
