Google has announced the closing date of its Podcasts service. Starting June 23, it will no longer be possible to listen to shows on Google Podcasts, and subsequently the ability to export subscriptions will be removed.

Google Podcasts will close on June 23, 2024. Google announced this in an email to users of the service.
“After June 23, 2024, you will no longer be able to listen to the show on Google Podcasts. After July 29, 2024, you will no longer be able to transfer or export subscriptions to another service,” the message says.
Users can transfer their YouTube Music subscriptions and listen to podcasts in the background. Recordings can be downloaded without a paid subscription.
Google announced plans to close the Podcasts service in September 2023. According to company data then in force, about a quarter of podcast listeners preferred to listen to YouTube.
