According to the report, 50 million viewers watch such videos every day. And the monthly audience of this episode is 1.5 billion people.

YouTube Shorts became available in India in 2020. And already as of July 2022, the service is being visited monthly by the above number of users worldwide. In this context, Google CFO Ruth Porat emphasized that YouTube “prioritizes the continued growth of user engagement and monetization.”
