Yandex updated the design of the mobile browser and added new features to the app, the company said in a statement. The search and navigation buttons have been moved to the bottom, the appearance of the tabs has changed, and a quick transition to incognito mode has also been added.
Search navigation buttons are now at the bottom. Important settings are immediately visible, and the search bar together with Alice are close at hand.
Tabs in iOS are now vertical. Due to this, more are now placed on the screen, and it is more convenient to navigate between the open tabs.
From the main page, you can quickly switch to incognito mode – the button to activate it appeared right in the new tab. Also on the main screen there was a back arrow – you can return to the last open site. There was also quick access to the Yandex ID account, where passwords and bank cards are stored.
A special button has been added to the panel with icons of the most visited pages, which will allow you to add new sites to the main screen.
