Wildberries plans to build a logistics center in Almaty. The company intends to invest about $100 million The project was discussed at the meeting by the mayor of the city Erbolat Dossaev and founder of the platform Tatyana Bakalchuk.
The emergence of such a center will automatically open access for Kazakhstan growers to markets in all regions where Wildberries is present. The site has already presented products from manufacturers from Kazakhstan and in the near future the range will increase.
Previously, Wildberries reported an increase in sales of regional sellers in 2022 – it amounted to 116% compared to 2021. The share of sales of entrepreneurs from Russian regions is already 88% in the total turnover of the site.
