Unfortunately for Xiaomi, the leaks didn’t end there. A few days later, another followed, where the Xiaomi MS11 car was shown in all its glory. These images looked very similar to marketing materials. And the car on them looked like an “early prototype”. Xiaomi did not even comment on this story.
Now, the company’s CEO, Lei Jun, said that he asked the supplier to pay a fine for leaking the footage. It costs 1 million yuan and comes with the condition that the supplier strengthens security and privacy measures. It can be assumed that this leak did indeed reveal Xiaomi cards.
