Apple told 9to5Mac that the hackers aren’t getting close to Apple Maps’ buggy navigation that navigates apps as users choose, even with location turned off.
According to Apple, this bug does not affect iOS and iPhone in any way. It is possible to use only applications in macOS, but the company was not noticed.
The fix was released immediately for all copied Apple systems, because they all used the same codebase.
The suggestion that this vulnerability could be applied to applications is false.

This vulnerability was reported to Apple by an anonymous hacker who received an Apple Security Bounty from the company. The company eliminated it in iOS 16.3 and macOS Ventura 13.2.[9to5Mac]
