The study among top managers of companies was conducted by specialists from the consulting firm Kontakt InterSearch Russia.
In 2022, executives began to worry more about their health: 47% of those surveyed admitted it. Last year, 28% of top managers turned to psychologists for help, 14% of them did so regularly.
“The ability of the team and the success of the company as a whole depend on how the leader is able to cope with his condition and his own level of anxiety during difficult periods,” said Elena Demyanishnikova, partner at Kontakt InterSearch.
Every third respondent constantly experiences stress, the study says. In 62% of cases, the main reason that causes stress, respondents called the situation of uncertainty, in 32% of cases – financial problems. Respondents consider communication with family and loved ones to be the most effective means of coping with stress.
“If a leader transfers his reactions to others, spreads his defense mechanisms and acts under the influence of his own destroyers and stress, this inevitably affects the team and definitely will not help the company to cope with the turbulence of the situation,” he emphasized. the expert. .
