Like Earth, Saturn is tilted around its axis and therefore has four seasons. The “threads” disappear as the planet approaches the summer or winter solstice. But as the autumnal equinox approaches in Saturn’s northern hemisphere on May 6, 2025, “conductors” are expected to become increasingly visible and observable.
The so-called culprit of the appearance of “strands” is the variable magnetic field of the planet.
