Among the disadvantages of freezing can be noted the treatment of products with boiling water or hot steam before sending them to this process. Therefore, some of the B vitamins, as well as vitamin C, are lost. Also, after defrosting, frozen food becomes different from before freezing.

As for fish and meat, there is almost no difference between the fresh and frozen versions of these products. The only thing is that they have a different shelf life.
