Artificial intelligence (AI)-based real estate appraisal service Otsenka.tech raised 9 million rubles in the pre-seed round, a company representative told RB.RU. The investor was the business angel Ildar Gamilov.
Appraisal.tech is an artificial intelligence-based service that allows you to automatically appraise real estate. It is ordered by borrowers to obtain a mortgage loan or to refinance it. According to Otsenka.tech’s own data, the size of the market in Russia is about 4 million ratings every year.
Today, most market participants work like this: Borrowers apply to appraisers, either directly or through real estate classifieds, brokers, developers. Experts manually verify all data for more than 50 parameters. On average, the preparation of a report takes up to 3 business days, “Otsenka.tech” plans to speed up the entire process to one minute.
According to the Kontur.Focus system, the startup was registered as Assessment Technologies LLC on December 29, 2022 in Kazan. The founder Mikhail Chernov owns 70% of the project, 30% belongs to the business angel Ildar Gamilov.
The startup plans to use the investments attracted for the development and recruitment of employees. The pilot project “Ocenka.tech” was launched in Moscow and Kazan. In 2023, the company expects to launch jobs in more than a million cities in Russia and implement predictive analytics functionality for real estate.
