Canon introduced a 35 mm 410 MP CMOS sensor. It’s 24,592 x 16,704 pixels and has a resolution equivalent to 24K, which is 12 times larger than 8K and 198 times larger than HD.
With this resolution, users can trim any part of the value and convey it to a large extent without any loss of quality.
According to Canon, this is “the highest pixel count ever achieved in a full-frame 35mm sensor.” But this sensor is not designed for a regular camera. It will be used in terms of “highest resolution” applications such as video surveillance, medicine and industry.
