WhatsApp has released an app update for both Android smartphones and iPhones (iOS) this Monday (13). However, the main emphasis in the update of the most popular messenger in Brazil applies only to the first operating system: Possibility to send up to 100 media simultaneously.
Previously, it was possible to send up to 30 photos and videos at once through the app. iPhone users will still have to wait to get the news.
The update has one common feature between the two versions of the app. On both Android and iOS, users can create a custom avatar to use as a sticker.. You can also put the picture in your profile picture.
To create it go to Settings and click on Avatar. There, access “Edit Avatar”. Some users can find the pre-created character on Facebook.
Other News
On Android, WhatsApp users can add captions when sending documents. The app has also increased the character limits for group descriptions and names.
As for iOS, the updates include some that are already available in Google’s operating system:
- Record video without having to hold down the button, just open the camera and swipe left;
- Drag and drop images, videos and documents from other apps to share in conversations:
- Undo “Delete for me” after a few seconds;
- Control who can see your online status via Settings > Privacy > Last Seen & Online.
