Serial production of electric motorcycles Aurus Merlon will begin no earlier than 2025, said Fyodor Nazarov, general director of FSUE NAMI, TASS reports.

The start of mass production of the Aurus Merlon electric motorcycle has been postponed to 2025

He clarified that the design is not yet finished: prototypes are being made. In July, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov, announced that the production of a domestic electric motorcycle would be launched from 2024. Then the minister said that he had already managed to assemble the Aurus Merlon, and spoke positively about the project.

However, the developer indicated that after the completion of the tests, the design may undergo some changes.

The Aurus Merlon electric motorcycles will accompany the official delegations. The motorcycle develops speeds of up to 200 km/h with acceleration to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. The power reserve is 200 km.
