The Xiaomi Book Pro 2022 laptop has been launched in China. This was announced at the presentation of the Xiaomi 12S series, during which several products were presented, such as Xiaomi 12S, 12S Pro, 12S Ultra, 12 Pro Dimensity and Xiaomi Band 7 Pro.
The 2022 Book Pro will ship with 12th Gen Intel Core P-series processors. Xiaomi offers it with a diagonal of 14 and 16 inches. The first weighs about 1.5 kg and the second – 1.8 kg. The new laptop is made of aluminum alloy with a thickness of about 14.9 mm.
Specifications and features of Xiaomi Book Pro 2022
The laptop has an E4 OLED touch panel with Xiaomi’s 3D LUT technology. The display has a 100% sRGB/DCI-P3 color gamut, supports Dolby Vision, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The 14-inch version supports 2.8K 90Hz resolution, while the 16-inch version supports 4K and 60 Hz. Both have a maximum brightness of 600 nits, an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent.
The new laptop will feature 12th Gen Intel Core P-series processors such as the i5-240P and i7-260P. The 2022 Book Pro is equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The laptop will come pre-installed with Windows 10 and the keyboard will be backlit.
The 14-inch version has a 56Wh battery, while the 16-inch model has a larger 70Wh battery. Both models come with a 100W GaN charger. For heat dissipation, the Book Pro 2022 is equipped with two heat pipe cooling fans. Both options offer other features such as 2x 2W speakers with DTA audio processing, HD webcam, fingerprint reader, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, 1x Thunderbolt 4 port, and a 3x combo jack. 5mm for audio/microphone.
The 14-inch version of the laptop comes in three flavors: i5-1240P with integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU for $880, i5-1240P with MX 550 GPU for $970, and i7-1260P with RTX 2050 graphics for $1,190. The 16-inch version of the laptop comes in two configurations: i5-1240P with integrated graphics core for $970 and i7-1260P with RTX graphics 2050 GPU for $1,270. All variants come with 16GB of RAM and an SSD. 512GB.
