According to Wojcicki herself, she is leaving the leadership position to focus on her family, health and personal projects. His successor is already known – it will be Neil Mohan, who since 2015 has been considered “the second number on YouTube.”

Note that under Wojcicki’s leadership, YouTube has become an increasingly important part of Google’s business, providing more than 10% of Alphabet’s total revenue in 2022.

Another interesting line in Wojcicki’s biography is that he was the one who leased his garage to Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page at the end of 1998. Shortly after, he became the 16th employee of the newly established company.
